She Said YES!

On July 19, 2008 Jordan flew to Siberia for a month to court and propose to a Natasha, a girl that served in the Rostov Russia mission with him. They served together for 6 weeks, when he returned from his mission he showed us pictures of her and was certain she was the girl he was going to marry. However Jordan returned from his mission Aug. 2007 but Natasha was not released until May 2008, he had to wait nearly a year to see her after he returned from Russia. During that time he attended BYU Utah.
One day while Natasha was at work Jordan decorated her apartment with hearts that listed all the things he loves about her. He also left her a forged note from the Russian Mafia saying they had kidnapped Jordan and if she wanted to see him again she needed to count all the hearts, go out on her balcony and yell out the number of them. Jordan hid outside waiting for her response.
Then he showed up on her door step with roses and proposed....
She said YES!!

We are anxious to meet this girl from Russia who captured Jordan's heart. She is currently applying for a Visa so she can come to the U.S which could take 6-7 months, they plan to marry as soon as Natasha arrives in the U.S.

It's nice to know the commentary behind the pictures now. I'm so happy for Jordan -- and for you. I'm sure Natasha will be a great addition to the Hickman family.
